A History Of Successful Relationships
Founders Peter L. Gladstone and Jeffrey A. Weissman met in 1994 when Jeff was a recent law school graduate and Peter was a sixth-year associate at the noted firm of Ruden, McClosky, Smith, Schuster & Russell, P.A., in Fort Lauderdale. In November 1997, Peter left to found The Law Offices of Peter L. Gladstone, P.A., and just two years later, Peter and Jeff joined forces to form Gladstone & Weissman, P.A. In 2023, Gladstone, Weissman, Hirschberg & Schneider, P.A. was formed when the David L. Hirschberg, who was with the firm from 2008-2016, rejoined the firm in 2023, along with Denise L. Schneider who has been with the firm since 2007.
The spirit of collegiality that characterized our firm’s earliest days has been maintained and cultivated throughout the years. To a large measure, our firm’s longevity and success are directly tied to its own brand of law firm culture, which focuses on the pragmatic achievement of its clients’ goals. We still maintain that listening to our clients and understanding their concerns enable us to better counsel and advise them.
We zealously guard the firm’s way of doing business, prioritizing personal relationships. To this day, our firm still feels like family, and we continue to cultivate the “dedication-to-clients” mentality that Gladstone, Weissman, Hirschberg & Schneider, P.A. team members share.

I highly recommend Abigail Cohen to any client seeking help with a prenuptial agreement.
Abby was incredibly detail-orientated and thorough. She demonstrated a commanding knowledge of family and Florida prenuptial law. Her work product was first-rate. And she was always incredibly responsive and quick. But what I appreciated most was how kind she was. She went above and beyond to answer all my questions, helped me think through tough decisions, and explained every step of the process. I never felt rushed, and I appreciate that she took the time to get to fully understand my circumstances—to get to know me, my family, my small business, and my priorities. She was always responsive to emails or calls. And she made me feel at ease throughout the process.
I also enjoyed working with Abby’s team, Kristy and Kristina. They were always very responsive and helpful with technology and scheduling.
Having worked with many attorneys, I can easily say without reservation that working with Abby was one of the best and most stress-free experiences I have had. I cannot recommend her and her team highly enough.

Truly a slam dunk.
“I couldn’t be happier with the outcome, I got everything I asked for, it was truly a slam dunk. I owe Peter a great deal of gratitude to for the outstanding work he did on my behalf. I’m convinced that if it wasn’t for him I would not be”

I cannot recommend Abigail Cohen enough. Abby assisted our family with a complex Family Law matter, that involved components of Family Law, Estate Planning and Trust Law, and Elder Law. Abby interfaced with multiple members of our family, offered counsel and advice to address a breakdown of a decade's long marriage in very elderly individuals, which made this case unique for her and for us. Abby brought a wealth of legal experience and life experience as she worked through an evolving situation. Abby also consulted with outside counsel when estate planning matters arose, and questions of competency and mental capacity came into question.
Abby prepared for multiple tracks for us to follow, including pursuing divorce, entering into a Post-Nuptial Agreement, and an informal separation, advising us closely on the pros and cons for each, taking special consideration for the age of those involved. Abby was at all times highly sensitive to the differing views among family members, understood the importance of advocating for her client, but also the necessity for consensus among family members due to the age of her client.
I had the pleasure of working with Abby for nearly a year on this matter and got to experience her professionalism firsthand. She has an excellent support team, who, in addition to being efficient and competent, brought a degree of pleasantness and compassion that is sometimes lost. I am very grateful for Abby's support, her constant availability, and her ability to think through, and offer out of the box solutions or ideas. While our situation yielded a negotiated resolution, I have no doubt that had we needed to pursue more aggressive tactics, Abby and her team would have been ready.
