Rachel L. Kipnis

Senior Associate

Rachel L. Kipnis is a Senior Associate at Gladstone, Weissman, Hirschberg & Schneider, P.A.

Ms. Kipnis earned her J.D. and LL.M. in Taxation from the University of Miami School of Law, in Coral Gables, Florida. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Jewish Studies, cum laude, from Connecticut College in New London, Connecticut.

While in law school, Ms. Kipnis served as the Editor in Chief on the Race and Social Justice Law review.

Since her admission to the Florida Bar in 2014, Ms. Kipnis has represented clients in litigation matters and in trial in both state and federal court. Previously, she served as an assistant state attorney for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office, in their Child Abuse and Sexual Battery Unit. Ms. Kipnis was also of counsel at a Miami criminal and professional license defense firm, where she provided support and advised clients on criminal defense matters. In addition, she led her own practice leading negotiations with opposing counsel – both civil and government – to resolutions using traditional and restorative justice methods.

Ms. Kipnis is a member of the Family Law Section of the Florida Bar. Ms. Kipnis was previously appointed to the Florida Bar Standing Committee on Professionalism and to a Bar Grievance Committee.

Ms. Kipnis has been recognized as a Super Lawyer “Rising Star” in 2023 and as one of the 40 under 40 Outstanding Lawyers of South Florida by the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. Moreover, the firm has been named to the 2025 list of “Best Law Firms” by U.S. News – Best Lawyers® as a “Tier-1” Marital and Family Law firm in the United States.

Rachel contributes to educational development through her involvement with the Ransom Everglades School Young Benefactors Society and as a mentor to young women at Miami Senior High School as part of the Women of Tomorrow Mentor and Scholarship Program.
