Peter L. Gladstone Recently Was Honored to Have Led a Mock Trial Presentation for 800 National Attendees of the American Society of Appraisers (Asa) Conference in Boca Raton

An international organization of professional appraisers, the ASA fosters excellence and integrity in the profession through education, accreditation, and the exchange of ideas. Its national/international conference is held in a different city each year and it was a true honor to be a featured presenter at such a prestigious event.

Our joint session presentation, a two-hour mock trial on how to become a more effective expert witness, was part of the concurrent Advanced Business Valuation Conference. As the mock trial leader, I was privileged to be introduced as a distinguished family law trial lawyer accomplished in the finer points of direct and cross examination.

Our presentation demonstrated the value of credibility, how to preserve it throughout the trial experience, and how an acknowledgement of limitations actually helps bolster credibility and engender confidence in an expert witness. Designed to enhance continuing professional education, the interactive presentation provided a unique learning session that received excellent reviews from attendees.

It was a privilege to be selected as a keynote presenter for the American Society of Appraisers’ Advanced Business Valuation Conference. I look forward to future opportunities with this notable organization.
